I’m realizing most people think that the key to success in business is either how much others like or dislike you as a person. That couldn’t be further from the truth!

That is such a financially dangerous and a possibly business destroying concept to harbor. If you have this belief and own a business or want to own a business it’s time to deconstruct this horribly wrong misconception now.

Why is it dangerous?!?!?! Because if you actually believe your sales is determined by who likes you you’ll potentially become emotionally crippled when you struggle to make sales. You may think you are unlikable, unwanted and rejected by others which can be extremely demotivating and demoralizing. You may focus more and more deeply on trying to devise a plan to make yourself more and more likable totally missing the point and wasting your time on the wrong approaches.

When you do make sales you’ll have no idea the actual business approaches that were in play and why it worked and it may be difficult to replicate or maintain and it can all slip through your hands as quickly as it arrived.

Stumbling into success is shaky because if you have no idea how you got there you may have no idea how to maintain it. How many businesses boom and then bust?!?! A lot!

So what is the key to success?!?!?!

👉A solid business strategy that honors who you are as a person and how you function tweaking it as you grow

👉A quality product or service that enhances other people’s lives

👉Clear communication to your ideal client speaking their language expressing exactly what you’re offering, what problem you’re solving and what your product and service helps with

👉Integrity & honesty

👉Appreciation and respect for your clients and customers

👉So so so soooo many other factors that is unique to your industry and ideal clientele

It’s a complex journey and every business model needs to be adjusted to who you are and how you function and then adjusted as you grow. You have to learn via trial and error.

If you see someone doing well don’t tell yourself, “Well of course they are doing well! They’re funny, pretty, talented, thinner, more likable then me!” Ask yourself, “Hmm, I wonder what business model they are using and what might work for me??!”

My last day at 37 years old, tomorrow is a new year ✨💕

No one has a perfect life. No human being is exempt from the emotional experiences of living in the world. We all have unique struggles, ups and downs, fears, worries and difficulties.

If you see a human in the world or online (this includes movie stars, singers, millionaires, business owners, healers, models, friends, family members, people from highschool, acquaintances) don't let your brain tell you that they don't struggle, face hardships or are living a perfect life. No one is. 😉

The unfortunate thing in our culture is we have a deeply unhealthy unconscious belief that there are those who are prefect, have everything solved and we think we can get to that space of perfection if we were just smart enough, brave enough, pretty enough, rich enough.

Those who are private people in regards to sharing their deepest, most vulnerable parts of themselves in public are sometimes seen as perfect. I help people for a living, people from all walks of life and backgrounds, and I can tell you without a shadow of a doubt that those who look like they have healthy families and lives have deep struggles, fears, anxieties and worries too just like you, of course their struggles are unique to them, but their struggles are just as real to them and just as deep, painful and debilitating. They have beauty in their life too, and that's not a lie either.

👉👉👉*EXTRA CREDIT: Take a look at your facebook account as if you have never met yourself. Look at all your posts, pictures and memes. Ask yourself, how would a stranger view your life? ...... You can't deeply know someone's struggles and entire life experiences via facebook. It's impossible. Social Media is a acquaintance level of knowing others. It's perfect for staying in touch and sharing, but it's not the whole story by any means, and can't be.

It's important to remember that while you can absolutely improve your life, no one is perfect and no one is obligated to share their struggles with others. Shift your brain to really REALLY understand that every human struggles and has beauty ❤ It will free you forever from debilitating experience of comparing 10% of someone's facebook life to 100% knowledge of your life.
