🌿 Donating everything we grow
Kindness Farm is a refugee, immigrant & queer led non-profit educational, urban, regenerative farm in SE Portland. We’re so happy to bring a special evening volunteer shift this week to Kindness Farm.
🌀 Mindful Garden Practice is an invitation to slow down and connect more deeply with the land through gentle, intentional presence. We’ll start with a guided mindfulness practice to help us arrive in our bodies and attune to the land. From there, we’ll move together in mostly shared silence, engaging in simple garden and farm tending tasks with care and intention. This mindful pace offers space to notice the rhythms of stillness and movement and to experience the practice of tending land in community.

June is here, and the farm is entering its full summer magic. 🌷 The days are warm and bright, the flowers are blooming, the pollinators are busy, and the land is inviting us to gather, learn, and connect.
We have so many beautiful events coming up this month: from weaving and water-wise gardening to movement, ecology, plant connection, and community care.
Come spend time with the land, the plants, the birds, the trees, and each other. Registration links in bio!

🌻 EVENT DETAILS:
What does it mean to be close to the land as a Chicanx person in 2026? What does it mean to be Indigenous in a Chicanx context? How can La Raza continue collective growth that embraces accountability and intersectionality? How can La Raza be in alliance with First Nations north of the imposed US/Mexico border? As Chicanx peoples, how do we listen to the earth in times of war and change? This poetry jam and facilitated discussion group will consider these and other questions.
