Friends of ours PDX's, food pantry will stay open indefinitely. We started to fill in when snap benefits were paused but seeing how many people in our communities that are facing food scarcities. We will fill in to help our other local food banks and pantries. We will deliver to your door a grocery bag of food and there is no limit to the number of times you can request help. visit us at www.friendsofourspdx.org to request or you can DM me or email me directly at [email protected]. You can also come pick up your groceries if you are able.

We see a need we try to fill that need.

Hello Friends and Neighbors, Friends of Ours Pdx, yearly Christmas help has opened up. Every year we offer Christmas help for families struggling to provide for their family. Our application process is open now until Dec 12th. Go to Www.friendsofourspdx.org on our home page you will see our Christmas project and how to apply. You can also donate to the cause by donating your time to deliver to the families, or purchase gifts for a family or you can even donate your finances. All on our website. Hello friends of Friends of ours Pdx, I want to take some time to thank our daily volunteers, our Monthly Volunteers and our weekly volunteers. we can't do what we do without you, so I want to make sure that i continue to thank you. Yesterday we handed out 150 sack lunches 50 blankets 50, hats, 50 gloves and countless hand warmers to our houseless neighbors living on our streets, in their cars/RVs. On Saturday we handed out 100 sack lunches and helped our houseless manage and pick up their trash. on this past Friday we out 80 sack lunches. thank you to all my volunteer sandwich makers and thank you to all of our donors who continue to support us. in the past i use to take photos of what we did to ensure our supports that their contributions are being used as intended for, but lately our houseless have asked if we not take photos because of their privacy so I want to respect that. So, what I will do is show photos of our vehicles at these sites doing the work. thank you in advance for all you do for us.

Today with the help of my volunteers we were able provide sack lunches and trash removal to our houseless neighbors in St. John's, Cathedral Park, Portsmouth, at the Do Good Multnomah day center, Delta Park, NE Lombard and parts of Cully. Thank you volunteers.

Thank you to our volunteers Madi and Nolan for doing us yesterday. With thier help we were able to help several of our houseless neighbors living on the streets manage thier trash and surroundings. We want to thank you our supporters for your continued support in our outreach.

Today we served our houseless neighbors in the St.Johns, cathedral park, portsmouth, university Park, Arbor Lodge, Kenton, neighborhoods. Thank you our volunteer sandwich makers and our volunteer outreach group for thier continued support of our mission and our organizations work. As I said before I will say it again we can't do it without them and without you. We thank you from the bottom of our heart.

Hey All, its been a while since we posted. Yesterday we handed out 120 sack lunches and 8 blankets to folks living on our streets in North and inner Northeast. Thank you to our volunteers who help make all the daily sandwiches we couldn't do it without you. As tuffer times approach us all when less and less is seeming to be our norm, it is our mandate our call to step up show up and fill the need. The work our organization and others like ours do we can't provide the much needed help without community members and business owner supporting us in the way you have been. We thank you and we ask that you continue supporting locally small non-profits on the ground doing the mighty work to help those less fortunate.

Hello Friends: Yesterday and the day before we were out handing out cold bottled water to our houseless neighbors. as the temps continue to rise over the next few days, we will be out continuing to provide some relief to folks. Also, i want to remind all of us to drink plenty of water and check on our elderly neighbors to make sure they are doing ok. We will be out again this afternoon with cold water and sack lunches.

Hello Neighbor's with the extreme heat we will be handing out cold water on Friday and Saturday, to our neighbors living on the street and in Rv's/cars. if you would like to help out handing out water or donating water and Ice we need your help. We spent the first part of the morning in the St.Johns neighborhood around Cathedral. We helped our Houseless on North Crawford and Richmond, North Boston down by the boat ramps.
