Welcome Paul Polsin!
Paul serves as Executive Director of P48, leading the organization’s strategy, operations, and efforts to expand its impact for youth experiencing foster care.

Paul previously served as both a P48 volunteer and Vice Chair of the Board of Directors. His connection to the mission is deeply personal: Paul experienced foster care firsthand until age 10, fueling his commitment to ensuring young people have the stability, resources, and support they need to thrive.

Before joining P48 as Executive Director, Paul spent more than 12 years leading global programs and operations for major brands, and also served as a Sergeant in the U.S. Army National Guard and as a team leader in Iraq.

A Portland State University graduate and proud Portlander, Paul spends his free time hiking, camping, traveling, and catching live music.

Volunteer(s) of the month: Deborah and Marsha!
Every week, these two walk into the P48 warehouse and get stuff done.

They’ve created their own well-oiled rhythm of grabbing and unboxing the mail, bundling clothes, tackling in-kind inventory, and somehow even making sure the recycling and trash disappear.

They’re action-oriented, always ready to jump into whatever needs doing, and genuinely delightful humans to have around.

Marsha and Deb, thank you for making our warehouse run a whole lot smoother. We’re so grateful for you both!

Our Life Skills crew had a blast putting those skills to work at Hopscotch Portland!
