This is the first in a long series of art I have made and am in the process of making about something I am going through. You all know that I have a major incoming surgery (likely multiple). I am not yet ready to say more than that, but I think my art will speak to the right people. That surgery is now scheduled for July 16th, and I will give updates as I am comfortable.

This spaceman is one of the lighter pieces of art, but many of them are hard to look at and sometimes grotesque. There is a purpose behind each one, and each one is supposed to make you feel something very specific. I would love people to tell me what the piece made them feel, as I continue posting them. I will be posting warnings when it feels necessary but I wanted you all to know that there is a significant shift in themes coming to my page. This is a large part of the reason I have been hesitating to post. There is still light hearted art with prettier themes posted, but I am currently getting out what I need to get out. The idea is that this will be a temporary shift, but there is a lot of uncertainty surrounding my situation that will greatly affect not only my art but who I am as a person moving forward.

I am considering putting together an art show / exhibit with the entire collection. Let me know if this interests you, or if you have or know of a location that would be willing to host.

I swear to you all that soon I'm going to post actual art I've made lmfao 😭 times are tough and I'm making different kinds of things but posting is a giant task by itself rn. also, update, surgeries are getting scheduled but they are not happening soon enough 🥲

hey y'all I'm in a really bad spot but the one thing I have going for me is that the studio currently has the supplies for and functions well for Handmade Screen Printing Classes. February 18th and February 25th are currently wide open and I have generally more time this month so if anyone would like to schedule outside of class hours then please do! If you already have a group of 3-5 people then you can just email me directly class(at)habitgallery.com but If you are just one or two people, try using the comment section to see if there's anyone else who would like a class at your desired time/date 🤗❤️

February screen printing workshops are available! I also have a favor to ask anyone on the email list. Somebody marked my January email as spam. This is the only time this has happened but because l'm a small business who rarely sends it emails it put me at 2.38% spam rate which means that it's possible that Google and Yahoo may send my emails immediately to the spam box. If you are on the email list, you should have one in your inbox about February workshops.
