So I did a thing. Admittedly out of frustration but I felt I needed to do it.

Throughout this pandemic, when the subject of communities of color arises, the narrative and visual imagery has been very consistent in focusing on the hesitation to trust science in our communities.

Don't get me wrong, the hesitation is REAL, VALID and deeply rooted in America's history. But...

That's not the entire story. I'm tired of seeing communities of color, my community, portrayed in a way that doesn't even touch on the positive things we are doing; what we HAVE BEEN doing. Words are important, and images speak volumes. Check out my blog and let me know what you think.

Years ago I had the honor of photographing Master Sargent Tony Robertson and the Marines of the US Marine Corps 6th Engineer Support Battalion during their Marine Corps Ball. It was both a moving and emotional experience that I will never forget.

I am forever humbled for the opportunity and proud to have captured portraits of men and women who defend our nation. With the greatest respect, I join many others today in wishing Happy Birthday to the Corps, and extend my thanks to you all for your service.

And 2020 goes on...!

It’s been a while since I’ve posted, and now I have some great news. While spending time working out how to move forward as a photographer in this crazy and unprecedented time, I also updated my website!

Finally getting around to sharing some (fairly-somewhat) recent work!

OK everyone! It’s the last day of the Oregon Brewers Festival. Come on down and enjoy 93 Oregon beers and 8 ciders! The weather is PERFECT and everyone is in a great mood. Come find me and let’s make some photos!

Well everyone, it’s that time of year, and I’m once again shooting the 2019 Oregon Brewers Festival this weekend at waterfront park! Come on down and hang out with over 80 Oregon brews and ciders. There’s plenty of food, music and even face painting and kid-friendly beverages!

Let me know when you’re coming so we can make a couple of pictures!
