As we are wrapping up the spring season, our youngest group right here finished with a bang as you can see in their faces! Missing a few more kids for last game picture together but we’re proud of this group, most played a year up and competed every game, but most of all is the passion to be at every game rain or no rain! The future is bright for these munchkins!🙏🏾

A same day round trip to Bend, OR was an experience, more for some than others! 3 parents (drivers) and 12 players. “Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house.” Matt 5:15

Allow me to vent for a few because as an organization this is important to our whys! What we do is more than just creating spaces for the underserved. It’s more than just a game! Developing individuals to be the best version of themselves on and off the field is what we envision for every player and sometimes that means as we develop players, and we feel like a player or two are ready for more than what we offer, part of our mission is to find different channels for them to keep going! And we are in direct contact. But, in recent years, we have players that are being mislead and miss treated by these pay to play clubs we are hoping would be a good fit for these players because they prioritize the opinions of the parents. Here’s an experience; our player would help a team get to a final by the scoring winning goals multiple times as a starter then sit on the bench for the championship game. (This is documented by the way). Another example; a player asked the coach why they didn’t play these last two games? coach’s response, “because you didn’t interact with your teammates enough at practice and you are too short.” We do not want to expose these clubs or coaches but if mistreating keeps happening, we will. We are not going to negotiate about clubs or leagues mistreating our children. I hope all clubs respect the principles of the game. Please don’t ask to use our players if you’re looking to use them for your own convenience! Enough is enough!
