#running4stevienick started with a simple mission, run for those that can’t.My nephew was born with PMD-Leukodystopphy (Pelizaeus-Merzbacher) which is a genetic disease of the central nervous system and spinal cord. Running4stevienick was created in honor of my nephew Steven Nick, diagnosed with PMD at an early age, advised his life expectancy would be short this December we will celebrate his 30th. Steven has never had the gift to walk but has the gift of the best smile and heart. He’s non-verbal however, with his smile and the gleaming from his eyes he shares the greatest story of the greatest man ever. I run for him because I know if he could he would for me.
