Interview Tip #9: Always have questions ready. 👀

When an interviewer asks, “Do you have any questions for us?” and you say, “No, I’m good,” you may be missing an opportunity to show genuine interest in the position.

Instead, ask questions that help you understand the role and show that you‘re already thinking about how you can succeed.

Try asking:

💬 “What does success look like in this position?”
💬 “What would you want the person in this role to accomplish in their first 90 days?”
💬 “What does a typical day look like?”
💬 “What do you enjoy most about working here?”

Remember: An interview should be a conversation, not an interrogation. Come prepared with at least 2–3 thoughtful questions!

Started the week on the course Monday at the Salem Area Chamber of Commerce Annual Golf Scramble. ⛳️

Scramble tournaments are always a great test of teamwork and course management, but the best part of the day was connecting with business leaders from across the region.

Between chasing fairways, trading shots, and talking shop over 18 holes, it was a great reminder that some of the best business conversations happen outside the office.

A big thank-you to the Salem Area Chamber and everyone who helped put together such a first-class event—from the competitive energy on the greens to the McLaren showcase that added a little extra excitement to the day.

Always worth stepping away from the desk to support the Chamber, strengthen local connections, and spend time with the people helping move our business community forward.

👀 Interview Tip #8: Don’t just tell them — show them.

Saying “I’m hardworking,” “I’m a team player,” or “I have great communication skills” is easy. What makes your answer stand out is proof.

Instead of simply saying you’re a problem solver, tell them about a time you actually solved a problem.
Instead of saying you’re reliable, share an example of when you went above and beyond.

And remember: your words aren’t the only thing being evaluated. Your body language speaks too. 👇
