A voluntary water restriction is being requested for residents to limit their water usage to help conserve water during the drought. We are hiring! PBA is looking for a Part-time Secretary with great administrative skills. This position requires a strong working knowledge of MS Office, specifically Word and Excel. Experience with Quickbooks and completing quarterly taxes. We are looking for someone that is extremely organized, self-motivated, and with good communication and customer service skills. The Portland Borough Authority is seeking interest for 1 vacant seat on the Board. The Borough of Portland Council makes the appointment to PBAs Board. Portland Borough Authority will begin flushing hydrants starting tomorrow, May 7th and ending May 10th. Dirty water is to be expected, run water until clear. No boil advisory is in effect. Thank you.

FYI to all Upper Mt Bethel and Portland water customers, the Authority hired WK Sales & Consulting to locate and paint curb stops (shut off valves) for all customers. Bill is wearing a green safety vest and drives a unmarked blue Chevy pickup truck. This process takes some time, so expect to see Bill for over a month.
