Two years ago I had to go on leave at work and had enter an outpatient hospitalization program for my mental health. I was at my lowest and did not know how to move forward. Despite being in therapy on and off since I was a kid and being in the mental health field for over 10 years, I could not seem to find my way. The doctors had diagnosed me with three autoimmune disorders, two mental health disorders and told me that I would be on medication and in treatment the rest of my life. It was not until I took the reigns on my healing journey, that things began to change. I started to integrate holistic practices while also utilizing more of the traditional counseling tools. My life finally began to change. I have been able to meet my authentic self and heal my body from the inside out. I have been able to enter my healthiest self mentally by healjng attachment wounds from childhood and overcoming my habitual self. If we take the power back towards our healing, we will heal and recover! Becoming the person you dream of is possible with hard work and community!
