When designing all the details of this kitchen, I have to say- my most favorite feature are the windows we added to give this space so much warm natural light. ✨

We love to elevate a powder bathroom. It’s a small space that is closed off to the rest of the house, but you and your guests will all see. Being that it’s small; it doesn’t feel like a huge commitment compared to a living or dining room situation, so it makes it easier to really make it fun and inviting! Blue and white is always a favorite combo- so this wallpaper is definitely a favorite, but the floating marble vanity is an absolute showstopper. ✨

We love a good exterior update! As you can see, we extended the front porch and added a metal roof. We also added double doors, replaced all the windows, and siding along with all new paint and a brick wash. We love bringing homes that are run down and forgotten- back to life again. It not only added visual appeal to this street, but also adds value to our community that we love so much. 🤍

When we redesigned the entire floor plan of this home, we added a second staircase off the living room. It may be my most favorite feature of this home. It was not only practical with the flow of the layout and with access to the upstairs, but it also added more character and ambiance to the home. We love a good floor plan overhaul ✨

We haven’t made a formal introduction on here yet- so here we go! 👋 We are Jeremy & Barbara, the owner’s of Kavia Homes. We currently live in Kingwood, Tx with our two daughters, Kayla & Olivia. Jeremy runs the entire construction side of the company and is very hands on in the field. Barbara is the designer for all their investment properties and she handles all the selections and redesigning of floor plans. We make a great team! Our slogan is “Building the Future. Restoring the Past” which covers our love for new custom builds and full home renovations. One of our main passions is taking an older outdated home and redesigning it entirely with todays modern luxury living in mind. We’re known for our quality woodwork, open floor plans, attention to detail, and built-ins and storage throughout. We are high school sweethearts who met at KHS💕and have lived in Kingwood most of our lives. We love this area so much and find such joy and purpose in renovating and bringing back to life so many older, beautiful custom homes. We also work in Houston and the surrounding areas, but Kingwood will always have our heart. 🤍 We love what we do and where we live and are so grateful for all of our past and current clients. This may be a small bathroom, but the details are 🖤

A custom linen cabinet is something I design into every house- if the space is available. This is an elevated way, instead of a linen closet, to store towels and toiletries. The fluted glass camouflages the interior and the cabinets below hide hampers and have additional storage. This is, by far, my most favorite way to add storage to a primary bathroom.
