Our Story

Hunting for designer fashions at prices you can afford? Then you’ve come to the right place! The Fashion Safari is an awesome locally owned and operated upscale consignment shop. We’ve been in the same location for over a decade now!

Rose Shapiro, owner of The Fashion Safari, graduated from UCF with a Bachelor’s degree in education and has taught in both public and private schools in Volusia County, FL. She was awarded ESE Teacher of the Year at the last school where she taught at before retiring.

Rose founded The Fashion Safari in 2007 and has been the main guru of the store ever since. Her passion and dedication to excellence is what makes The Fashion Safari such a pleasant place to shop. She goes above and beyond to make sure the store is always clean, organized, and stocked with only the finest quality fashions and accessories.

Both new and nearly-new women’s designer clothing, shoes, handbags, jewelry and accessories, are available at The Fashion Safari, and all for a fraction of the retail price. We accept only the finest items for our sales floor and new inventory is received on a daily basis. Rose came up with the store name because it’s like you’re going on a safari, hunting for the perfect fashions.
