Finishing up a large project. Removed a protective coating on new VCT tiles in 42 rooms for a large facility in Bloomington. Then applied 4 coats of wax. Client very happy. Pictures are a little dark, looks better in person.

Cleaned a large office complex today.

It's that time of year again. 5+ inches of rain are coming this weekend. Please check your gutter spouts, sump pumps and pick up items off basement floors. If there is water, wear rubber boots and call your favorite plumber. We are always here to help. Thank you.

Scrubbing some older floors last night. Cleaned only, no wax was applied. We clean many types of floors. Always a free inspection.

ALERT: Please check water pipes that are on an outside wall. Our shop cold water did not flow tonight. We keep our shop at 50° during the winter months, unless working in there. Test water flow. This will save you a few thousand and lots of grief. We are a phone call away.

If the pipes freeze and expand, you'll find water issues after thawed out.

The local river is rising. Ground is getting saturated. Please keep an eye on your basements and buildings in lower areas. Be prepared.

Residential or commercial.
When cleaning/ wiping down common touch points, etc. Multiple sanitary wipes/ towels need to be used. If one wipe is used for many areas, then possible cross decontamination will occur. Basically, areas are still not clean and safe.

It's that time again. Please check your basements for water. Inspect outside down spouts and test sump pumps. I had to clean some of our drains on the gutters. Any questions or concerns, I'm only a phone call away. 815-844-4424.

Please be careful of what your mixing together. Could be a deadly combination.

Rains are starting early this year and the ground is already saturated. As always; please test the sumps, make sure items are off the floor and down spouts are on property. Check the batteries on back up systems.

Gem's is busy and still open for taking care of your cleaning needs. Especially since many people will be indoors and close quarters. For your safety and ours, I will be asking if anyone has been sick or has flu symptoms. Better safe than sorry.

Looks like 2-4" 's of rain coming tonight and tomorrow. Possible flash flooding. PLEASE test your sump pumps and make sure down spouts are on and tight. Inspect gutters for late leaves that came down. They may be full or plugged. Also, pick up items in basement.
