Both my parents were working there when I was born...famous people used to play there, I know my mot Place to go for FUN!
Food,,,,,,,,,,the fried chicken was famous, bingo, dances. They had it all...still miss all the friends, the music and good times we all had there.
I'm having a conflict mentally I love the way British women say "Perfect" and I love the way Australian women say "Here" - and make it sound like two different words

Thanks to everyone who likes the Cave Tangi site...it supplied joy, dancing to great bands, like the Rocks and the Boogie Kings, great food and bingo to so many people's lives...a serious shame that it had to disappear from the earth, but it will never be forgotten in our memories!

Do any of the band members of the "Rocks" still live? My Father & I had something in common = just a few of my guitars
Hope y'all are enjoying all the rain...the cave would have been flooded!
Unfortunately, the Cave Tangi is still gone! Pot Hoover advised me that the Walmart people refused to leave the big fountain in place, and that it had recently been torn down too...
In Ponchy yesterday to fix up my mother's grave for her birthday and Valentines Day, and to eat at the best sandwich place in town! Meantime, I ran into 'Pot' Hoover at the cemetery while working, he asked if I knew Anne Prince...I explained that I am that person, a lot grayer, but still the same, and Lee Settoon while we were waiting for our food at Bootsies! Great day!
