The artwork of 76 Wisconsin artists will be part of the new exhibit "From Where I Sit" which opens Friday, September 20, at the Bradley Gallery at Lakeland University.
An opening reception begins at 4 p.m. including an artist talk at 4:45.
The exhibit runs through October 25 in the Bradley Fine Arts Building on the Lakeland campus. The Bradley Gallery is open from 8 a.m.-5 p.m., Monday through Friday, when Lakeland is in session.

Sheboygan Area School District high school students earned more than $2 million in free college credit last school year thanks to a college coursework partnership between Lakeland University and SASD.
The partnership allows SASD students free access to Lakeland Concurrent Academic Progress Program (CAPP) courses, which provide high school and college credits simultaneously.

2020 Lakeland graduate Kearstin Schweitzer has always had a passion for football. As a Sport Management and Leadership major, her time at Lakeland opened her eyes to a potential career path she hadn’t considered—coaching.
This summer, Kearstin completed her second experience with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and she recently became running backs coach at Valparaiso University.

Fantastic news for 2017 master's degree graduate Kaitlyn Kenealy LPC, the founder of Kenealy Counseling, LLC.
She has been chosen to receive the prestigious Trailblazer Award 2024 by the International Association of Top Professionals, recognizing her exceptional dedication to promoting mental health awareness and her pioneering work in the field of psychotherapy.
She will receive the Trailblazer Award this December at IAOTP's 2024 Annual Awards Gala in Nashville.

Congratulations to Jake Frias '10 MAC '13 who won Workforce Development Educator of the Year this morning at the 2024 Workforce Development Symposium hosted by the Sheboygan County Chamber of Commerce. Jake does a fantastic job creating opportunities for students and employers as a counselor in the Random Lake School District.

A year ago, Lakeland University relocated our Milwaukee Center to WCTC - Waukesha County Technical College's main campus. The feedback from students has been overwhelmingly positive, highlighting the real impact of this partnership.
Congratulations to 1995 Lakeland grad and current LU Trustee Barb LaMue for this well-deserved recognition. She has spent decades as an important leader and positive change maker in Northeast Wisconsin.

Earlier today, more than four dozen healthcare professionals and community leaders joined Wisconsin Lieutenant Governor Sara Rodriguez to help Lakeland University and Moraine Park Technical College formally celebrate their new nursing program partnership.
Beginning this fall, students can simultaneously enroll in both schools on their way to earning an associate degree in nursing from Moraine Park Technical College and a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Lakeland in four years.
