I wrote this article because I’ve seen how easily “love and light” can become a mask for control. It’s not just religion that abuses power, it’s happening in spiritual spaces too. Sometimes the manipulation just sounds softer.

Love, Light, and Power Trips I used to think spiritual abuse was something that only happened in churches, in strict denominations, controlling pastors, or cult-like “God told me” leadership.
