Hey everyone, due to the changing weather forecast for this evening, let's head inside to the Club Room and have Des Moines Elks Lodge #98 Thursday Night Bags Tournament! Play begins around 6:30pm after teams are drawn and we have the Friday Night Pizza Drawing 🍕. Bring a friend and play or just come for the jocularity! See you tonight!

PS - we'll likely have the NFL Football game on.

Jon Breheny, Chair of the Wiffle Golf Committee, presenting a check for $1,000 to Barb Bahde from Tori's Angels Foundation. These funds are from Des Moines Elks Lodge #98 on behalf of the Wiffle Golf Committee Fundraiser. Here's a couple volunteer opportunities coming up this month. October 14th is for the Pleasant Hill Fire Department Iowa Pancake Breakfast and the other on October 21st for the Veterans in Marshalltown. Please consider helping us with these events!

Coming Sunday the 8th and Sunday the 22nd of October. Bar opens at 12:30pm, Bingo from 1-4. Tell your friends, family and neighbors and bring them to Des Moines Elks Lodge #98! See you there!

Last night before our Thursday Night Horseshoe Tournament, Jon Breheny, Chair of the Wiffle Golf Committee, presented the Meyer family, parents of Madison, a check for $12,352.00! Great job by all who participated, raised money, helped on the day of the Wiffle Golf Tournament, The Unforgiven Band, General Lee’s Smoke Shack LLC, Golf Cars Of Iowa, and Daniels Racing! You all made a difference in this little girl and her family's life! THANK YOU!
