We sharpened the blade from a guillotine style paper cutter today. The blade was not overly dull or beat up but this style cutter requires EXTRA sharp to cut clean stacks of paper and not letting the paper roll over. This cutter is from a local church to make their bulletins each week. The initial BESS testing score when it came in was a 260, that is about the same as a sharp kitchen knife. Final inspection, after I was done, yielded 3 tests on three different parts of the blade that BESS scored a 121, 125 and a 129. Now we have 19" razor and extreme care putting it back together. Tomorrow those chruch bulletins are in for a real treat. You have a challenge for us to sharpen?
