Our Story

MISSION STATEMENT

Paws Crossed Rescue Resource is a non-profit organization dedicated to advancing animal welfare in our community. We believe in the need and importance of animals in our lives, seeking to compassionately and responsibly create a more humane world for animals by engaging the hearts, hands, and minds of the community.

Paws Crossed Rescue Resource will

· Partner with rescues and shelters in the belief that working together, we can save more lives

· Promote rescue and adoption

· Endeavor to help pet owners facing challenges, to help where able to offer resources and support

· Advocate against large scale breeding operations (puppy mills) and work towards legislation to protect animals

· Double Merle education and support

· Assist owners and rescues with lost dog support

· Safeguard and advocate for animals in need

· Actively encourage spaying/neutering along with microchipping of companion animals

· Facilitate outreach and educational activities about the humane treatment of companion animals encouraging responsible pet ownership

· Operate with the highest standards and ethics, always doing what is best for the animals
