Pittsburgh concerts that benefit local charities! All of the proceeds from entry fees will be donated to the cause chosen for that particular show.
Help Your Homies is a Pittsburgh concert series that unites local bands and fans towards causes in the community. Additional donations of needed items are also accepted. Visual artists may also sell some of their work, with a portion going to the cause. Vegan and non-vegan goodies will be sold, all proceeds going towards the cause! Help Your Homies events do not tolerate any forms of discrimination such as racism, sexism, homophobia, or transphobia.

After some feedback from everyone, it seems like our next show is going to benefit PERSAD. From their website:
"Your donation to PERSAD CENTER helps us fulfill our mission in many ways including:
Providing specialized, non-discriminating counseling, regardless of a person’s ability to pay
Responding to the many needs of HIV+ people, as well as their families and friends
Advocating for LGBTQ competent workplaces through training & education
Reducing the risk of teen su***de by working to eliminate bullying
Sustaining our commitment to equality and justice for LGBTQ citizens"
Persad Center | Strengthening the Region’s LGBTQ Communities and Their Allies PERSAD CENTER offers Training & Advocacy services to help organizations develop LGBTQ competent and welcoming environments for employees and customers.

If you are at home enjoying this holiday with your family, please remember what a privilege it is to be able to do that. Please consider using that privilege to donate or volunteer to cause you care about. Even $1 or one hour of your time can help someone else.

This is next week! Help us help The Bloomfield Sandwich Shop. They provide a free and delicious Thanksgiving feast to citizens of Pittsburgh every year.

Oops, long time no see. I have another benefit show in the works for The Bloomfield Sandwich Shop! Every year they serve a completely free thanksgiving dinner to residents of Pittsburgh, so I want to help them help the community! If you are interested in playing the show or helping out in any way, please message me. I am hoping to have it mid-November.
Y'all helped us raise $160 for Girls Rock! Pittsburgh!!! Thanks everyone that came out and all the amazing bands that performed. The funds will be spent towards educating young girls about music, art, and self-confidence!
I want to thank everyone who came to the Animal Rescue League benefit show last night. We raised $150 for the organization! Thanks SO much to the bands that performed: Scrap Kids, Vetter Kids, Cherry Cola Champions, Us, and Homies. Good luck on all your tours, guys!
