We had a great weekend of gigs and wanted to say thanks to everyone who came and listened! We got lucky with the weather on Saturday and got to play outside at Beck-Ringland Tavern & Scenery Hill Brewing. If you haven’t been down there, they have an amazing menu and great live music. Our next exciting update is that Judy will be moving back to Pittsburgh in May!

Last but not least, we’d like to introduce Annick Odom who plays bass for . A Belgian-American multi-instrumentalist and composer, is currently based in Morgantown, WV. She has been working hard on a solo album project (out in Spring 2026) that brings together many of her eclectic interests: storytelling, old time ballads, experimental improvisation, and new classical music.

Time for another band member intro! Judy Swanson is a fiddler, vocalist, and native Pittsburgher. She currently lives in Austin, Texas, but is looking forward to moving back to Pittsburgh in 2026 (stay tuned!). Judy grew up in the classical world and did her undergrad degree in violin performance. In the midst of working on her Master’s in Music Education at WVU, she fell in love with playing other styles of music with friends and classmates, and began singing out in the world for the first time. After teaching public school strings for five years, she now works as a software developer, and is grateful to have found a musical home somewhere at the crossroads of folk, old time, and country music.
