Man this lens is sick. So is the laser cutter, but the LENS tho…
Playing with my new macro lens - I really, REALLY like this thing. Big thanks to for the assist, they’re helping save my little project and their 150mm macro cine lens is a flat out masterpiece.

I started a new job Monday, I officially work for “the liberal agenda” now. My boss and coworkers are phenomenal and the cause is really really good, so I’m here for it.
And it’s my birthday.
Quick and dirty camera test for a new video. Even in my filthy office with no lighting, this camera makes everything look SO GOOD.
I love this.
April Fools, idiots!

So, sequel to the monitor thing, turns out I needed to update the CAMERA's firmware, now it displays correctly. Unfortunately, now the phone app that controls the camera crashes constantly, so, I'm actually worse off.
Also, obligatory sleeping doggo picture.

So I didn't really tell anyone, I don't usually talk about it, but I went on a diet back in May. I weighed 460-something lbs, which is almost double my ideal weight. And I could feel it, I still can. You kind of get used to it after a while, but, I'm almost thirty. I can't compensate for it like I could when I was twenty, and for sure it's not gonna be easier in ten more years.
So I've lost a little over 60 lbs so far. 25% of my goal, feels like I just started. But... I haven't weighed less than 400 lbs since college. It's been six years at least, maybe longer, since my weight started with a 3. And seeing it again, even knowing how many more changes I need to make and how much longer it'll take, it's wild.
There's this big hill next to the house, you have to go up the hill to get to the neighborhood where it's actually nice to walk around. I used to dread that hill, it left me unable to breathe halfway up, I used to stop halfway up for a minute then again at the top - where I'd actually sit for 5 minutes or more - then head right back down.
I barely notice it anymore, it's just the way to GET TO where I want to actually walk.
I bought 20lb ankle weights and a 30lb weighted vest, and when I put them on and do the same walk, it feels like it did before. I'm exhausted halfway up, I feel sluggish and tired and... then I'm fine once I get up the hill? It's still heavy, but like... I do the whole walk, I love it. I feel good.
I feel fu***ng great.

Damn, people are thirsty as hell today. Still not drinking that nasty Dasani or Aquafina though. Miss me with that nonsense.
