On the Tracks in Chelsea did not disappoint, with a full house of engaged devotees of original songwriting and Annie Capps' finely tuned team of volunteers getting everything right. It doesn't get any better! A couple of pics from Annie to give you an idea. Only missing the two trains that came through during the talented Al Bettis's set. Tonight, Trinity House Theater in Livonia, with Mike Gentry opening.

Three Rivers Song Collective Save-the-date alert!

Six Pittsburgh songwriters calling themselves the Three Rivers Song Collective have been meeting for the last year with the goal of producing new songs oriented toward below-the-surface portrayals of current or former aspects of life in the Pittsburgh region, while dusting off a few from our collective repertory and including a few covers. New songs now number a dozen and we’re looking forward to showcasing our work on Saturday, November 22 in the SongSpace concert series at First Unitarian on Morewood Ave in Shadyside. You’ll hear Guy Russo, Tai Chirovsky, Brad Yoder, Christopher Mark Jones, Ben Shannon and Liz McBride playing in various combinations of instruments and voices. Pittsburghers unite!

Annie & Rod Capps & Jason Dennie closed the Sunnyhill Live! season on Friday with a bang! Annie's smart, saucy and lyrical songs combined with the stunning musicality and chops of Rod on guitar and viola, Jason on mandolin, made for an evening to remember! Bonne route, les amis 🎻🎸🚗
