Magic lies in the Voodoo of the swamp. Tree trunks like the feet of elephants.

Making lots of progress on this dreamy swamp scape.

Making progress. This is my first painting post cataract surgery. Y’all, I can not help but paint all the colors!!!

Working on a new painting! It’s big, 5.5 feet x 5.5 feet. I started painting this after my first cataract surgery. So this is a new experience for me.

I looked up at the cloudless sky tonight. It was at the edge of dusk and darkness. And the color of the sky just vibrated back to me. I closed my left eye and saw a beautiful deep bluish violet. Then I just closed my right and I saw a deep ocean colored teal. And I realized it was as if
I were inside one of my paintings. The vibrations of the two colors existed together as each one fought for the dominance of my attention.

This is just a picture of our visiting cat Summer. She is not “our” cat, but she hangs out at our home every day. ❤️
