Hand Made, One-of-A-Kind Quilts
I’m so excited to head to The Seeing Box Quilt Shop this week!
My constant shadow and my biggest fan
Here’s a little behind the scenes of loading a quilt onto the longarm for day 19 of Sew Much June.

Day 18 of Sew Much June and today I headed to Rhonda McCann to pick up some backing so I can finish up my t-shirt quilt project, then stopped by Oakmont Yarn Collaborative for some new sock yarn. It was a great morning, even though I didn’t get the chance to do any sewing.

At what point does a hobby become a collection? Asking for a friend. 😅
If your sewing room has more fabric than available shelf space, this shirt might be for you. The new “hobby collector” tee is a simple, minimalist design that perfectly sums up life as a maker, quilter, crafter, or creative who loves gathering supplies almost as much as using them.

Day 16 of Sew Much June: T-Shirt quilt time!
T-shirt quilts aren’t difficult, but applying the interfacing takes FOREVER and it absolutely can’t be skipped!
Now I just need to head to the quilt shop to pick up some backing for this baby… poor me! 😉

Day 15 of Sew Much June
Can you believe we are halfway through the month already? Time is flying!
I love these checkerboard sections of the Ramble quilt by tara faughnan. They add so much interest to the quilt, and the 1” finished squares looks super complicated but the pattern is written so well, they go together like magic!
What did you check off your to do list today?
Today I finished up month 2 of the Ramble Block of the Month by tara faughnan - only 3 more to go until I’m caught up! 🤦♀️ One day I’ll figure out how to stay on top of these kind of projects!

Month 2 of Ramble by tara faughnan is finished, and I can’t believe how easily these strips came together!
I have a terrible tendency to get super excited about the beginning of a block of the month program (I finished month one the day it started) and then fall off schedule REAL FAST, and that’s how I ended up 4 months behind on this project. Can I catch up? And if I do, what are the chances I actually stay on track?
Do you like block of the month programs, or do you prefer working on an entire project, start to finish?
