Season Two wouldn’t exist without Season One. Season One wasn’t even planned.

Poppy, Molly, and Haley showed up for a (Road to Shake Hatteras π) gig—no blueprint, no big plan—just three women who stepped in and changed everything. Haley even said this year, “My friends don’t believe there are clothes with me on them.” Well, this one’s for y’all. The Season Two stories are still unfolding—more bands, more new careers, more full tilt producing—but Season One will always be our blueprint. Thank You.

Season 2. Say Less.

Director of Artist Content – 2025

We first really met Hadley Shoaf at a show at Neptune’s (aka “Tunes”). One thing led to another—a half-drunk conversation turned into a full-blown brainstorm about the possibility of a UAP ZINE launching this coming spring. We all agreed: there’s a real need for unfiltered voices telling the stories of these island seasons.

A Psychology major and Creative Writing minor at Dickinson College, Class of 2026, Hadley had already interviewed Barry Wells for a local magazine. We figured—maybe she could be our 2025 Director of Artist Content?

Turns out we were right.

Once we laid out our content goals and storytelling ambitions, Hadley didn’t wait—she moved. She planned, organized, followed up, and started building something real. She’s been coordinating artist interviews, shaping narratives, and helping define the voice of Shake Hatteras IV from the inside.

She’s not just interviewing artists, creating content, and writing about Shake Hatteras—she’s shaping how it’s remembered.
