The woman behind the scenes… with the beautiful vision for Trauma Art Ministries!!

My original vision of Trauma Art Ministries was birthed out of the counseling room. Clients were telling of the need to express their anger and pain in a way that would be creative and bring healing in a safe environment. They also had a need for support of others who had similar needs to encourage each other.
Hence, Trauma Art Ministries grew out of their need and the Holy Spirit working in the lives of image bearers of the Creator.
From there, a wonderful team of volunteers began a labor of love in order to bind up the broken hearted and to set an environment to proclaim liberty to the captives and freedom to prisoners of trauma.

Those who have an ear for music and have created an original song please consider sharing it in our show! 🎶 We would love to hear how you move people with your gift and maybe it will touch a heart that certainly needs it🎶💕

July is ! Created in the 1990s, Disability Pride Month celebrates the diversity that disabilities bring. Throughout this month, we will be recognizing this holiday and the awareness that it promotes.

Announcing a joint venture from @goexplorecreateart and @traumaartexhibit is an event to get your creative juices flowing. Our mission is to provide ways for people healing from trauma to express themselves through the arts. This can be visual, musical, dance or theatrical, or spoken word and poem. As a piece in our art exhibits slated to beyond display October 1st and 2nd, 2021, we are inviting the public to pick up a free art kit to create a piece that shows your voice. We are distributing 176 art kits with the hopes of making a tiled art piece of these 6x8 canvases We are predominantly sponsored by faith organizations, however are welcoming to artwork from anyone who would like to participate. #traumaart #traumaarttherapy #artthatheals #pittsburghartist
