Recently, Paula Carlock, Director, Strategic Projects here at Softwriters had the opportunity to attend an ASCP regional meeting and connect with consultant pharmacists from across the long-term care pharmacy community.
Beyond the educational sessions, the most valuable part of the event was the conversation. We had meaningful discussions about FrameworkRxP and exchanged ideas with pharmacy leaders and partners.
We also appreciated the opportunity to connect with the leadership team at ASCP and support the important work they continue to do on behalf of senior care pharmacists.
Events like these are a great reminder that while technology plays a critical role in advancing LTC pharmacy, progress starts with people, partnerships, and shared experiences.

Four pressures. One outcome. Operational strain.
Reimbursement compression, rising labor costs, compliance obligations, and growing prescription volume are converging on LTC pharmacy at the same time - and the Omnicare sale is one of the clearest signals yet of what happens when operational infrastructure cannot keep pace.
Our latest blog breaks down what this moment means for the broader LTC pharmacy market, what facilities and independent providers should be watching, and why operational efficiency has become the most important strategic conversation in the industry right now.

There are plenty of pharmacy conferences. But how many are built specifically for Long-Term Care Pharmacy?
That's what makes the FrameworkLTC Innovation Conference ๐๐๐๐๐๐ง๐๐ฃ๐ฉ. It's where LTC pharmacy professionals come together to share challenges, exchange ideas, and learn from one another.
As one pharmacy director put it: "We all share the same issues, problems, challenges... by being together we get to talk it out, and really learn from each other, and make solutions that are helpful to everybody."
That's why we say it's... ๐๐๐๐ง๐ ๐๐๐พ ๐๐๐๐ง๐ข๐๐๐ฎ ๐พ๐ค๐ฃ๐ฃ๐๐๐ฉ๐จ.
Don't miss your opportunity to join the conversation, build valuable connections, and discover new ideas you can bring back to your pharmacy.
