The Hello Neighbor Network, powered by Hello Neighbor, is honored to announce the launch of the COMPACT* Cohort pilot, made possible by funding from Walmart Foundation

During this 30-month program, the Hello Neighbor Network will work alongside six organizations to test the impact of full-time Volunteer Coordinators. Cohort members will engage in a peer learning community to build and refine strategies that increase volunteer engagement and deepen intergroup contact.

Please join us in celebrating our 6 incredible partner organizations:
📍 Echo Collective (Omaha, NE)
📍 Heartfelt Tidbits (Cincinnati, OH)
📍 Home is Here NOLA (New Orleans, LA)
📍 Miry's List (Los Angeles, CA)
📍 MOZAIC (Sterling, VA)
📍 New Neighbors Partnership (New York, NY)

We are excited to share our learnings as we strengthen community ties across the country!

Join the Hello Neighbor team to explore this new exhibit, connect with our community, and learn more about our evolving programs & services. Light refreshments will be provided.

This event is free and open to the public. If you plan to attend, please be sure to register in advance at tinyurl.com/HNOpenHouse

It’s always a great day when our supporters & community members pay us a visit to get more connected with Hello Neighbor’s mission. This spring, we were thrilled to welcome so many funders, partners, and students to experience our work first-hand!

🧡 Partners & funders joined us at our Office Hours in Charleroi to see how we support the immigrant community in Washington County.

đź’š We spent a fun & busy afternoon with two generations of trustees from the Roy A. Hunt Foundation, who helped us assemble baby bags for new moms.

đź’› Students from Shady Side Academy 9th Grade joined us to learn about Hello Neighbor and participate in a service day.

💙 Students from St. Edmund’s Academy visited to learn about immigrants & refugees in our communities and paint rocks of encouragement for new neighbors.

We’re so grateful for everyone who shows up to our space with curiosity and care. Thanks for visiting, neighbors!

Join Hello Neighbor staff at our office for an open house and gallery opening celebrating the stories and perspectives of refugee and immigrant neighbors in Pittsburgh. Meet staff from across the organization and learn more about the programs and community connections that support families on their journey from arrival to belonging.

The evening will feature an exhibition of original photography created by students in Hello Neighbor’s Study Buddy program. Students were given disposable film cameras and invited to capture what matters most to them. The result is a series of visual autobiographies that offers viewers a glimpse of Pittsburgh through the eyes of the next generation of Pittsburghers.

This event is free and open to the public. Please register in advance at tinyurl.com/HNOpenHouse to help us plan for attendance. Light refreshments will be provided.

Thank you to Bodega Film and Artists Image Resource for making this exhibition possible!
