The UK show Top of the Pops (TOTP) was always a formative influence for me as a lover of music.

One of the artists who wrote the theme song used in the early 80s was included in the 101 song collection I recently purchased (for a possible hint, see the artist list that is part of my previous post).

Best music “bang for your buck” purchase for me at $2 this weekend!

New vinyl added to collection this week includes Ultravox (Systems of Romance and also Ha Ha Ha!) and John Foxx’s Metamatic. Looking forward to playing Tiki Lounge soon.

Great album. Snapped this up on vinyl. Did not pay the 1977 price listed though.

Another great music weekend starting on Friday with Zonamorta at Tiki lounge, followed by Lords of Acid at Preserving, then Evolution at SideQuest. Saturday yielded at triple treat at Spirit Lounge with Hemlock for Socrates, Traitrs, and Ultra Sunn.

Thanks to everyone who showed up last night Mixtape for the birthday celebration. So many of you and you all made the night a special and happy one.
