✨Using family heirlooms as part of your decor...

Do you have pieces you love from your family members but aren’t sure how to incorporate them into your decor?

I have a trick for you! 🙌🏻 I bought this wooden decorative box from and put this collection of my maternal grandmother’s pieces together on my guest bedroom dresser. You can find nice boxes, mirrors or even a tray typically used for another room to display smaller pieces.

I love having pieces of my Gram to cherish in my home. These three are:
•One of her many watches
•Ivory rose bracelet
•The most unique piece of all; this beautiful compact from The World Fair with her name inscribed on the side. **Her mother bought it for her when she lived in the Bronx of NYC as a kid and I was thrilled it was passed on to me. ☺️

While there is still SNOW, yes I repeat, snow on the ground today, I’m thinking of my deck space and a few updates I’m doing to it this year. More to come on that project...once it warms up! ☀️

🌿SPRING Vibes...

Well at least it was spring-like yesterday here in Pennsylvania! 🤣

Some tips for decorating a small stoop or exterior entrance space:
•Lanterns are great since they offer a cozy light and have a welcoming vibe.
•Flowers or Plants. 🌱🌼 I’m so excited that my daffodils are starting to bloom!
•A fun welcome mat. This “Hello” one is from .
•A vertical sign or a fun plaque to hang on the outside wall to give your space some character.

🤩They may say I’m a dreamer...

My home office is one of my favorite views in my house. This dream catcher (from ) overlooking my backyard of woods and just all the possibilities. ☺️ I can get lost in this view dreaming up plans, brainstorming and then executing on plans.

✨Let’s talk repurposing...

I’ve had this vase for many years. It had a totally different look awhile back; with a candle in it on my coffee table. I bought the smaller candle and forgot about it since it was stowed in my buffet. 🤷🏻‍♀️ The gorgeous and unique beads are from that I purchased last year and hadn’t figured out what to do with them until now. 🤍

The placemat was being unused for who knows how long! 🤣 I added some sand and pampas to the vase and finally have something I like on my dining table.

I shall call this my “earthy” vignette/centerpiece!

🦚FEATHERS are so magical...

I knew when I found this print on that it would require something special to make it stand out. did an amazing job of matting and framing it, making it the perfect compliment to my bathroom refresh.
