The badge may define your profession, but it doesn’t define your worth.
Law enforcement officers spend years fitting into expectations, roles, and responsibilities. Cop2Cop reminds you that there is a person behind the badge, someone whose value extends far beyond the job.

Dear Me,
I know you're scared.
I know you're carrying more than you let others see.
But you've made it through difficult days before, and you'll make it through this one too.
Keep going. One step, one shift, one day at a time.
Love,
Me

We often feel pressure to have the right words.
But some of the most meaningful support comes from simply being present.
Listening without judgment. Listening without trying to fix. Listening without rushing someone through their pain.
A conversation may seem small to you, but to someone who is struggling, being heard can make all the difference.

As law enforcement officers, we're often the ones carrying everyone else's burdens.
The calls. The tragedies. The stress. The expectations. The problems that follow us home after the shift ends.
Sometimes it's worth asking: How much of what I'm carrying was never mine to carry in the first place?
You don't have to shoulder every burden alone. Protecting your own well-being isn't selfish, it's necessary.
If the weight is getting heavy, reach out. Support is available, and no one should have to carry it all by themselves.

With heavy hearts, we acknowledge the loss of a veteran member of the Newark Police Department who passed away after suffering a medical emergency while on duty.
Despite the immediate efforts of fellow officers, EMS personnel, and the dedicated staff at University Hospital, their watch has come to an end.
The law enforcement community is a family, and tonight that family mourns together.
On behalf of Cop2Cop, we extend our deepest condolences to the officer’s family, friends, and the men and women of the Newark Police Department. May they find strength, comfort, and support in the days ahead.
We are here for support 💙
