The "Magic Number 2" Checklist
Late-night brain fog? We’ve been there! But when it comes to saving a life, the number 2 is your best friend.
If you aren't trained in breaths, remember Hands-Only CPR has just 2 simple steps:
1️⃣ Call 911. 2️⃣ Push hard and fast in the center of the chest.
Want to go deeper? Here is the "Power of 2s" for the pros:
✅ 2 Inches: The minimum depth for adult compressions.
✅ 2 Breaths: Delivered after every 30 compressions.
✅ 2 Minutes: How often you should swap rescuers to stay fresh.
✅ 2 Minutes: How often the AED re-analyzes the heart rhythm.
✅ 2 Hands: Interlocked for maximum leverage on an adult.
CPR isn't about being perfect; it’s about being prepared.
Drop a "2" in the comments if you’ve got these memorized!

💓 VTach vs Pulseless VTach: Spot the Difference
Ventricular Tachycardia (VTach): Fast heartbeat from the lower chambers → dizziness, chest pain, palpitations. Pulse usually present.
Pulseless VTach (PVTach): No pulse → no blood flow → cardiac arrest ⚠️ Emergency!
👀 Risk factors: Heart disease, prior arrhythmias, certain medications, electrolyte imbalances.
🫀 Tip: Knowing the signs and performing CPR immediately can save lives.

Do you know the difference between AFib and VFib?
AFib affects the top chambers of your heart, causing an irregular heartbeat and increasing stroke risk.
VFib affects the bottom chambers, stopping your heart from pumping blood and causing cardiac arrest—a life-threatening emergency.
Knowing the signs and risks can save lives. Learn the key differences and be prepared.

Cardiovascular disease does not happen overnight.
40% of adults and 21% of children are affected by obesity.
Half of adults are diabetic or prediabetic.
And only 23% of adults with diabetes meet recommended blood sugar, blood pressure, and cholesterol targets.
These are not just statistics. They are risk factors that increase the chance of heart attack, stroke, and cardiac arrest.
Prevention matters. Education matters. Knowing CPR matters.
Be prepared. Be trained. Be ready to save a life.
