What does patient safety look like when care happens at home?
For families caring for a loved one with complex medical needs, safety is more than a care plan. It's feeling confident that the right support is there when you need it. It's a nurse who knows your loved one, a care team that communicates, and knowing exactly who to call when something doesn't feel right.
In recognition of World Patient Safety Day, our latest blog explores how Team Select's approach to care coordination, communication, family education, and clinical support helps create a safer, more supported care experience at home.

At Team Select, that support can look different at every stage - from structured training and mentorship for newly graduated nurses to continuing education and additional clinical resources for experienced nurses.

For Sherry, and for so many nurses who find their place in home health care, that connection is what makes the work so rewarding.
If you’re looking for a nursing role where hands-on care and meaningful relationships, we’re here to help you take the next step.

Your resume does not need to be complicated. It just needs to be clear.
Rashaan, our Talent Acquisition Manager, is sharing what recruiters look for when reviewing a new-grad nurse resume: licensure, certifications, clinical rotations, graduation date, NCLEX status, and experience that shows your work ethic, compassion, and ability to connect with people.
The biggest tip? Be specific.
Do not just list your clinical rotations. Share what kind of patients you worked with, what setting you were in, and what skills you practiced.
New grad nurses, which resume section do you feel least confident about?

Today, we celebrate the people whose hard work, dedication, and compassion make a difference every day.
From all of us at Team Select Home Care, have a safe and happy Labor Day!
Sometimes, the first sign that something needs attention is not obvious.
It may be a small change in routine, a subtle shift in comfort, or even a pattern that looks different than usual.
CareSightAI helps our care teams pay attention to the subtle changes that may happen before something more serious develops. For Myriah and our Fort Worth team, that means having another way to recognize when something may need attention, communicate with the right care team members, and support patients alongside their nurses and caregivers.
It is one more way Team Select is working to make private duty nursing at home more connected, proactive, and personal.

What exactly is newborn screening and why does it matter?
For many families, newborn screening is one of the first important health checks their baby receives. These screenings can help identify certain conditions early and give families and care teams valuable information about next steps.
This Newborn Screening Awareness Month, we're helping families understand the process, what screenings may include, and why early detection matters.

We believe the answer is simple: it should help clinicians deliver even better care.
Our latest guide explores how AI can support daily nursing workflows through earlier identification of changes in a patient's condition and enhanced insights...supporting, not replacing the clinical decisions that patients rely on.
