“For the Son of Man came to seek and save those who are lost.” –Luke 19:10 (NLT)

Zacchaeus thought he was searching for Jesus.
But in reality, Jesus was already searching for him.

That’s the beauty of this story. Zacchaeus thought he was the seeker. Jesus reveals He was the Seeker all along.

Before you ever prayed a prayer…
Before you ever stepped into church…
Before you ever cleaned anything up…

He saw you.

In Luke 7, a dinner party—where Jesus was the guest of honor at a religious leader named Simon’s house—was interrupted by an “immoral” woman.

She didn’t worry about what anyone thought of her. She ran to Jesus, dropped to the ground weeping, poured expensive perfume on His feet, and began washing them with her hair and tears.

She understood how much she’d been forgiven—so she held nothing back.

God, let my worship be just as bold.

A contract says,
“If you do your part, I’ll do mine.”

A covenant says,
“Even if you don’t do your part, I still will.”

“This cup is the new covenant… confirmed with my blood.” –Luke 22:20 (NLT)

Thank You, Jesus.

Sometimes joy and sorrow sit right next to each other. Sometimes hope and disappointment show up in the same conversation. Sometimes faith is strong—and grief is loud.

The Bible doesn’t clean up the mess of real life—it meets us in it. It doesn’t airbrush the pain, confusion, or messiness of the human experience. It shows us how to navigate it—all while still pointing us to a faithful God!

Time alone with God anchors us in 'who we are' before we step into 'what we do.'
