Set against the deserts of Arizona, “The Curtain” isn’t a song about answers.

About “The Curtain”
“The Curtain” was inspired by a drive on Arizona’s Bee Line Highway between Phoenix and Payson after witnessing a strange light standing vertically in the night sky.
Whether it was a natural phenomenon, something explainable, or something else entirely isn’t really the point.
The light became a metaphor for the moment when reality feels thinner than usual—when the curtain separating what we see from what may exist beyond it begins to pull back.
The song explores awakening, perception, social conditioning, and the feeling that many people move through life following inherited scripts without ever questioning them. It asks what happens when something interrupts the routine and forces us to look up.
