Back in the garage!
Lots of things in motion, but took a moment today to work on the racecar. New axles solved our drive line issue. Now replacing the front camber plates. With that done will be ready for our next race except for some minor items.

I know it has been quiet the last few weeks. A lot of stuff going on outside of racing has kept me busy. Had a chance to hangout with an awesome team Saturday night for the NASCAR O'Reilly Auto Parts Series race at Phoenix. Huge thanks for Tony Maggio and DGM Racing for letting me hang out. Also a thanks to for introducing me to their products.
As a racer and team owner I am always thankful for the opportunities to watch another team operate. I know how much work goes into each race and appreciate them being so welcoming. It felt weird to be at the track and not working, but it sure has me fired up for our next race!

You may have noticed it has been super quiet on this page since things went poorly at Sonoma. This is because while I was at Sonoma the flu decided to come visit. I am still not over it, but compared to the four days straight of being in bed, I'm a lot better.
We have identified what went wrong at Sonoma and will have the car all fixed before we head to Harris Hill in a couple months.

Sonoma. The start to our 2026 racing season... An utter disappointment.
We went to Sonoma with high hopes. Pre-season testing showed we had the best car we have ever had. As a bonus our pit/paddock setup was the best we've had as well.
Test day started off on a very high note. Sean Casey Racing took the car out for the first laps of the trailer. Despite being on cold used tires on a cold track on the first visit to Sonoma for this car, we were already close to class podium times in just a couple laps. Following that Edgar Petitt took the car out and very quickly reported an issue with the car's handling.
We inspected the car and could find nothing obviously wrong. We inspected suspension parts, wheel hubs, replaced an axle and even did a full tear down of the L*D and inspected every single clutch plate and part. In the end we could not get the car to handle in a safe or predictable manner. We worked through Saturday in hope to getting to race Sunday. However, it was not working out.
With rain coming our window for effective work was over and we made the difficult decision to end the race weekend. Since then, we have been pouring over video and data and have a few possible leads. We are going to schedule a test day in about a month, so we'll be busy getting ready for it.
Our next race will have us traveling to Texas for a race at Harris Hill Raceway in San Marcos.

Not quite how we wanted today to go. Swapping differentials. First laps were great, car was working perfectly. Then the next driver has a problem before even getting out of pit lane. So, didn't get much track time today and we will not be running in an ideal configuration tomorrow. I have a theory for what the cause is, but I won't know until we're back home and I can take the differential apart in a controlled environment.
Load in at Sonoma!
