Found Kunta and his mom today after over a month ❤️
Had been worried… put it out into the world and we reconnected.
Thanks to Tina, we surprised them with a stroller, new gear, and tons of supplies.
Kunta jumped right in the truck like he was ready to roll 😂
His mom said she didn’t think anyone would come back for them… we both cried.
We do this because it matters.

What a day at The Speakeasy. ❤️
Paws & Purpose brought together an incredible community—raffles, great food, fun booths, and nonstop support.
Huge thanks to Hook Up Concessions, Pita Jungle, Nothing Bundt Cakes, and Barro’s Pizza for showing up in a big way.
One moment that stood out—an unhoused neighbor walked by with their dog, and we were able to help right there on the spot. That’s why we do this.
We left with a truck full of donations, new volunteers stepping up, and $1,500 raised for the people and pets we serve.
Grateful for all of you. 🙏

This month, we're proud to spotlight Do His Work. Through regular outreach across the Phoenix area, their team meets people where they are — in parks, parking lots, sidewalks, encampments, and at local shelter events to provide essentials to help pets and their owners remain healthy and safe.
If you are inspired by their mission, please consider supporting Do His Work through a donation of supplies or a financial contribution. 🧡
Huge thank you to Lost Our Home Pet Rescue for filling our truck today with donations for the people and pets we serve.
Because of this, we’re able to show up with more — more food, more gear, and more help where it’s needed most.
Zion & Ace also had a quick vet stop this week for their shots 🐾 keeping our own crew healthy right alongside the work we do.
And on Tax Day:
Do His Work is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, so your donations are tax-deductible.
Come see us 4/18 at The Speakeasy

This little guy got everything he needed… and then some 🐾❤️
Food, supplies, and plenty of love—but honestly, he won us over the second we saw his markings.
He’s got a tiny black heart on his butt… and yeah, it fits him perfectly.
Hard not to fall for this one.
This sweet boy (Boxer/Rottie mix) absolutely stole the show today 🐾❤️
He got a birthday cake… well, a stuffy toy shaped like one with a candle 🎂
Plus new boots, lots of food, and all the love and pets he could handle.
You could just feel how special he is the second you met him.
These are the kind of connections that stick with you.
Mac aka Mac Daddy was out front waiting when we pulled up 🐾
So good seeing him and his human again—and even better… he remembered us.
Moments like this are why we do what we do ❤️

Today we had the opportunity to drop off food, supplies, and hygiene items to a local transitional housing program here in Phoenix—one that allows people to stay with their pets.
These are individuals coming out of incredibly difficult situations and their animals are often their only source of comfort and stability.
Because of your support, we were able to:
• Help 6–8 people with cats
• Provide food and essential pet supplies
• Donate a kennel
• Hand out hygiene items like toothbrushes, toothpaste, shampoo, and more
This is the direct impact of your donations. You are helping keep people and their pets together.
We are so grateful for everyone who continues to support Do His Work—through social media, donations, and sharing what we do.
As we prepare to travel for the summer, we are looking for someone here in Phoenix who would be willing to continue supporting this location.
It’s:
• 1–2 times per month
• About 20–30 minutes total
• Organized and easy to step into
If you’ve been looking for a way to get involved locally, this is a great opportunity to make a real impact.
Please message me if you’re interested or want more details.
Most people don’t see these moments.
A dog gets what they need.
A person feels seen.
And for a little while, things get better.
That’s what Do His Work is about.
We’re honored to be featured by 4Knines this month—they took the time to share what we’re doing out here and why it matters.
This isn’t just about us. It’s about every person and every dog we’ve met along the way—and everyone who’s supported this mission.
