Good morning and happy Caturday from babies Ricardo and Jones 🖤🧡

The kittens are beginning to feel safer in my presence and willing to eat with me in the room now. Controlling the food and ensuring that humans = tasty treats is a great tool in feral kitten socialization.

Day 1 with the Junie B. Jones litter 🧡🎉 These kittens are 8 weeks old, born and raised outdoors by their young mama who was spayed this week.

These kittens had a caregiver who made sure they were fed, but they still have a long road to their socialization journey. Little miss Junie is the friendliest kitten BY FAR, but her 3 siblings, Jones, Beatrice, and Ricardo are going to have to learn to love humans 😅🥲

With feral kittens, it’s best to socialize them to humans as early as possible, but the window for taming them typically ends around 12 weeks old. Their little brains are so impressionable as they learn from their feral mamas and tap into their base instincts for survival.

Follow along to watch these babies get ready for adoption and come out of their shells! 🧡 if you’d like to send them some dinner or churu, check out the amazon wishlist in my bio!

Please help me in welcoming the latest foster kitties added to our home… Junie, Jones, Beatrice, and Ricardo! ❤️

These little 8 week old feral munchkins fell into my lap this week after a friend of a friend got in contact with me about a feral family in her neighborhood running rampant. These babies have a socialization journey ahead of them as they’re very hissy and opposed to human touch 🫠🥲

Follow along to keep up with their journey to becoming adoptable! Once they’ve decided to accept the good life lol, they’ll be up for adoption through

If you’d like to send them any treats or kitten food, please check out the wishlist linked in my bio! 💕

Kitten season is here!!! 🫠 I received a message from a friend that she had a friend who desperately was seeking help trapping a mama and kittens in her neighborhood. I had her send me a photo of the family, and when I saw the kittens were already around 8 weeks old, I knew we had to act fast.

The socialization window for feral kittens usually ends at 12 weeks old when they’ve had no interaction with humans. And it’s only a matter of weeks until the mama goes into heat again and starts the cycle all over.

I loaded up my traps and headed over to scope out the neighborhood. 😅

And we were able to get the whole family with the help of the cat’s caretaker who we met while canvassing the area and talking to neighbors. She was happy to have help with spay and neuter and getting the kittens into rescue ❤️

Follow along to keep up with the socialization of the spicy little feral kittens! 😅 And wish me luck!!!

Life update! We moved! 🏡 Social media has taken a backseat over the last few weeks as the kitties and I have been settling in to our new home.

The kitties are all loving the front row seats for birdwatching, and overall things have been going great! Cowboy’s been on the struggle bus a bit due to the stress causing an IBD flare up but he’s getting through it.

The cheese boys, Muenster and Asiago, are along for the ride too! They’re still available for adoption through but they’re our beloved family members in the meantime ❤️

I’m gonna try getting back into the swing of things this week and get some content rolling!! 😁💕
