To kick off the spring semester, meet our first RVP Student Athlete of the Month — Jace! 🎉

Jace has proven himself to be a true stand-out student-athlete, both in the classroom and on the field. He earned Honor Roll with a perfect 4.0 GPA for the second quarter and consistently shows up every single day ready to give his best.

Coaches and family describe Jace as hardworking, disciplined, and respectful — the type of student-athlete who leads by example. From his dedication at practice to his commitment in the classroom, he truly exemplifies what it means to be a Standout Student-Athlete.

As part of his recognition, Jace received our SAOTM gift basket — including a family pass to the Desert Botanical Garden for him and his family to enjoy! ☀️

This winter, Rising Valley Project is on a mission to get 100 blankets to 100 people in 100 days. Last year, our community stepped up and helped us provide 128 blankets to those experiencing homelessness — and we’re ready to do it again!

This past weekend, we successfully hosted our very first Art & Wellness Workshop under the RVP Mental Health Initiative — and it was a powerful start!

A huge thank you to the incredible team at Creative Continuum Therapy for leading a meaningful, art therapy–inspired workshop. Their energy and compassion brought the event to life!

Through the support of our partners — Creative Continuum Therapy, Blick Art Materials, Phoenix Center for the Arts, and Crayola Experience Chandler — we created a safe and welcoming space for 8 youth in Phoenix to express themselves, connect, and take home new tools for mental wellness.

At RVP, our goal is to provide accessible mental health resources to youth across the Valley. This workshop is just the beginning. ☀️

On July 19, join Rising Valley Project and our incredible partners at Creative Continuum Therapy for the RVP Art & Wellness Workshop, a one-day art class led by experienced art therapists, helping kids get creative, express emotions, and have fun!

Led by licensed art therapist Marina Doering and registered art therapist Shannon Killpack, this fun, hands-on art class gives kids the chance to create, express themselves, and learn simple tools for emotional wellness — all in a relaxed, creative environment.

🎨 We’re pleased to offer the RVP Art & Wellness Workshop — a unique opportunity for children ages 8–12 to engage in creative, hands-on art sessions led by licensed art therapists from Creative Continuum, hosted at the Phoenix Center for the Arts.

Through this workshop, participants will explore their creativity and develop tools rooted in art therapy to support long-term mental wellness. Each child will receive a Crayola Kit, generously provided by the Crayola Experience.
