Valley nonprofit gets $250K to expand custom gear program for disabled kids A Valley nonprofit is getting a major boost to expand one of its most hands-on programs for children with disabilities, and the impact goes far beyond the equipment itself.

Sending Happy Birthday Weekend wishes to Samantha Baltierrez, co-owner of Impact Gymnastics.
While she has been a client since 2017, we first met a few years prior when she was a coach at another gym in town where I was doing their PR/Social Media. At that time, I was getting a lot of press for the gym because of their boys and trampoline and tumbling programs. She had reached out to the owners asking why the girls weren't getting a lot of exposure, so we met over coffee so I could learn more about what she was doing with the girls and explain to her how boys in gymnastics and T&T got us attention because it was pretty rare in the Valley. I was worried that she was disappointed but I did work hard to get the girls in segments and live shots after that. Eventually my work with that gym ended and out of the blue she contacted me a couple years later to ask if I would be interested and helping her new gym with exposure. I jumped at the chance especially because they were literally right around the corner from where I lived. We've been going strong ever since, and I've really enjoyed seeing her grow as a business owner and a mother. She really does care about her athletes, coaches and the community.
And I was so proud that she was recently named a Most Admired Leader by the Phoenix Business Journal recently. She knows how to in everything she does and it's a pleasure to be a part of her life!!
