Owner surrender on 5/16/24🔸because he escapes Turbo is available for adoption Medium energy dog Calm dogs recommended Turbo was lying on his bed with a relaxed body when the runner approached. The runner called to him, and he approached with a neutral body, soft eyes, closed mouth, ears up, and a neutral tail. He was easy to leash and remove from the kennel, pulled moderately on leash while bypassing the other kennels, and was easy to collar. In the catch pen, his body was neutral, his eyes were neutral, his mouth was closed, and his tail was neutral. He entered the yard and exchanged tense greetings with the other dogs. He roamed the yard for several minutes before he gave a full body shake. His body relaxed, his eyes were soft, his mouth was slightly open with a soft pant, and his tail was high with a loose wag. He kept to himself as much as possible, but coexisted with the other dogs. He solicited petting from the handler, rolling onto his side when she began to pet him. When one of the other dogs approached, his body tensed, and he jumped up. He moved away but returned to the handler when the other dog walked away. When he was being returned to the kennel, he struggled and did not want to go back in. Turbo is tolerant of the other dogs and does not have a playstyle at this time.
