Figured I’d share some of the details of this home with you guys since it’s been so long since we purchased it.

This bad boy started out as a tiny 950 sq ft home that burnt down in a fire. The owners decided to sell and we decided to make the balsy move of buying Scottsdale’s most expensive garage for $177,000.

We got started on designing and permits and went to the city. The permits and plans took about a month to approve and from there we were off to the races..... well kinda.

Construction is always a hurry and wait kinda deal. It takes 45 days to get to the point of pouring concrete and yet, the entire house is framed in less than 2 days. It takes 6 months to get to the point of drywall and the entire kitchen is put together in a week. The entire project took us 8 months and we hit the market this morning at $499,000.

We appreciate everyone who follows along on our real estate journey and all of our amazing clients who trust in us to help them buy and sell. We seriously have the best clients, partners, investors and friends and that what I’m most grateful for in 2018. That, and the fact that I get to build amazing homes next to my best friend and Part. 2019... Let’s do this!

Was thinking of sharing some of our staging finds on the blog tonight. I had a pretty small budget to stay in to get this place fully furnished and I made the most of it by finding some great deals.

We’re ringing in the new year with a largest project yet. We took this old burned down lot and turned it into the most awesome modern home. We’re hitting the market today at $499,000 and I can’t wait to share a couple sneak peaks with you!
