Just in time for Mother’s Day, the VNSA Online Bookstore rolls out the red carpet for women authors—past and present. Absorbing contemporary fiction, science, politics, food and cooking, crafting, and intriguing biographies are part of this month’s offerings.

Spring is the perfect time of the year to venture outside, fetch a spade, shovel, or hose, and get your hands dirty. For the month of April, the VNSA Online Bookstore delves into green thumbs of all stripes with books about gardening, plants and landscape design. Whether the project is a simple vegetable garden or a full-fledged yard overhaul, you are sure to find a suitable tome in our diverse selection.

Grab your popcorn bucket—this March at the VNSA Online Bookstore, we turn the spotlight to movies on DVD, Blu Ray, and other formats. Sure, streaming is great, but nothing beats the satisfaction of having a movie ready to watch anytime on a convenient disc to have in your own permanent collection. The preliminary tallies are in, and the numbers are rewarding and amazing for the charities we support!

The 68th Annual VSNA Used Book Sale hit a new high with $536,950 raised. We welcomed 12,378 shoppers this weekend. Our shoppers were able to find affordable books to build their classrooms, libraries and fuel their reading adventures for the next year.

Mark your calendars for the 69th annual VNSA Used Book Sale in 2026 on Saturday February 14 and Sunday February 15, at the Arizona State Fairgrounds, where we hope you join us for "Falling in Love With Books."

VNSA is made of 125+ members who work all year to collect, sort, price and set up for the annual Used Book Sale in February. We put on a book sale. That’s all we do. We’re the ones in the blue apron.
