When we met in college, we discovered we are very different people who share a very particular calling: to serve and love people in an international setting. Mosaic Church is already engaged in meaningful work, but like many churches in Scotland, theyβre navigating some real obstacles. Thatβs part of why we believe our gifts and experience fit here: to help build capacity, support local ministry, and strengthen whatβs already taking root.

We started our relationship with Emmanuel Presbyterian Church-Phoenix, AZ almost exactly nine years ago, and they've been in our corner ever since. On Sunday, we had the opportunity to lead the worship with cousin Marlys Weaver, share the message, and fellowship over a "Scottish brunch" (complete with Asher's IRN-BRU tasting).

Why is Mosaic Church intertwined with our call to serve in Glasgow? In places where the institutional church is struggling, its bridge-building work is vital. It's also a big part of why we're so excited to learn and serve with them.
