Saturday morning I got to spend some time with this wonderful family! It was a bit chilly at first, but then the sun came out and it was a gorgeous morning at Papago Park.

With the craziness of Thanksgiving, I realized I missed giving the Papa family their preview last week! My apologies. Your full gallery is almost ready. Until then, here is a little peek at what is to come!

Leane and Daniel recently moved and decided they wanted portraits at the house they have so lovingly (and stylishly!) made into a home for their family. It was just gorgeous!

Yesterday, the Fox family's eight children toughed it out through the cold. Amy and Rod had reason to celebrate as at the end of the session, they found out they're getting a new daughter! Devante proposed to Charish! Best wishes to you two. Amy Owen Fox and Rudolph Rod Fox, thanks for braving the river bank with all these little ones.

Happy birthday, sweet Lucy! This entire family was so much fun this weekend. Thank you Jen and Micah for letting me capture all of you again!

A few minutes after this image was captured, the grass started moving suspiciously and we were about to run when a big fat toad hopped right past the light stand. Karen, Josh and I started laughing so hard. That is until a coyote approached with no fear. Despite the brave wildlife, I really enjoyed the evening with you two! Your son will know great joy if my hour with you is any gauge.

These boys. Every year. They kill me. Kingston and Xander, you are growing into such awesome people!

Best wishes to Brandon and Crystal as they spend the next few months preparing for thei marriage. We are lucky to know you both and our family is so blessed to welcome Crystal as a member!

You know those sweet souls that give you hope for the future? Calli is one of those. She was in middle school the first time I met her and now she's a high school senior! Seeing the kind and funny young woman she has become was such a joy this weekend!

Ms Vivian is an amazing young woman. That smile goes for days! I hope the coming college adventures are amazing for you!

These boys. There are not words to describe how cute they are. And so incredibly sweet to each other it was adorable. Brothers gotta hug! Alyssa and Troy, your family is wonderful!

I love catching up with this family every year! Allison and Anthony are always up for whatever ideas I suggest. And their youngest is no longer surprised by my secret smile-maker. But he grins at the thought of it anyway.
