Simple set-up here to shoot promo shots for production of Into the Woods Jr.

Why a 14' black curtain right up on this white wall?? It's to control light with negative fill. When shooting with strobes, a TON of light bounces of this wall and back on to the subject. This black curtain prevents that light reflecting back. And that allows better control of light on the subject - if I need more light on that side of the subject, I'll achieve that with a fill light or small and focused reflector.

My go-to three light set up: 3x Godox AD600's and a black backdrop off to the left as negative fill. The black backdrop prevents light from bouncing off that giant white wall and back onto the subject. It makes a huge difference.

I offer a one-hour, one-on-one lighting class for $75 that'll get you comfortable with a set-up like this amount others.
