Back down to frame… cleaned up … light paint work… trying to keep some patina… front end rebuilt with fresh fluid and seals and boots… damper parts added and operational now… swingarm bolt cut out and replaced..

I have been spending time just going through and cleaning up parts.

Back on two wheels!

Just mocking up to see what this one will need …. Pretty rusty old girl… she is not going to be easy… got the rear wheel off and proper bits and chain guard in place now

I would like to promote suppliers I like to use… I restore mostly Bultaco motorcycles and have found a lot of hard to find parts locally with my buddy Dave Boydstun with amsracing.com and Bill Ramsey with motorcycle accessory shop and in the UK with inmotiontrials.com along with speedandsport.com and of course eBay…. Thanks for all the help you all have done. Without suppliers this would be near impossible… thanks

I had this bike in pieces and some of across the country in Oklahoma … frame was there … motor was here … coming back together now and should be getting hubs back from powder coat soon.

So I enjoyed building the boat tail pursang l wanted to build another well at least one that I could race and not be as valuable as a true boat tail. Well I had leftover parts a boat tail and front fender I did not use … and some triples and I had a frame from a model 75 matador that was rescued from the Rye junkyard fire that motor was a boat anchor and not much else was usable. I had these original patina and rusty bars off my pursang I had laying around so I wanted to do the frame in the same manor… so Phoenix here rising from the ashes is a bandido of sorts as a racer concept. I am still Fabricating and cutting on this one. Lobito motor and wheels…
