Pleasant Valley Farm

Thank you for wonderful camps this year! This is the 43rd year of Pleasant Valley Farm summer camp! I love the kids in camp when we can let loose & have extra fun ! I also love the extra time to slow down , enhance skills and all the gifts these amazing ponies give to the children who love them!

Thursday show at the Horse Park! Lots of fun and everyone rode their best today! We had riders in every right today!

July camp closed with lessons in transitions , cross country log jumping, games day , a tough & technical trail course and making stepping stones, trail rides and games in our woods.

This is how smart intermediate riders come back after a deer explosion in the hayfield on a trail ride!

July Camp started today! The best weather, kids, ponies and fun!
I had the younger riders today with Lili & Julie . So more pictures of them! Brenna had the older intermediate riders out back ! The campers started the first part of a 2 part art project today . Lessons , trail rides , jumping and playing games in our woods & trails . Lastly learning to set up jumps in the arena.

With the high heat this week, no lessons after Wednesday morning or Thursday.

June Camp was full of learning, laughter, lots of riding in the ring and on our trails , personal bests and new skills, jumping courses, jumping our log cross country, tye dye , visits with our horse dentist Matt and farrier Travis. Our new kittens Lottie & Violet. Ended with the best day... game day !! Can't wait to do it again in July!

Wrangling our little pre school lead liners was fun and interesting today!! These 2 kept me and Lili on our toes! Nice job post trotting today Bray & Scarlett ! And the girls loved hanging out together! The way I like showing!
